China Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) Suppliers in China - Effective Water Treatment from Leading Factory Manufacturer, Factories

Cationic Polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a highly effective water-soluble polymer characterized by its positively charged molecular structure (-NH₃⁺). As a leading product from China, our CPAM works through the charge adsorption + net capture mechanism, targeting negatively charged suspended solids such as clay, colloids, and dissolved organic matter including humic acid. This makes it ideal for removing pollutants like dye anions from water. With its rapid aggregation capabilities, CPAM serves as a powerful tool for decolorization and impurity removal, particularly in industries facing low turbidity and high pollution challenges, including printing and dyeing, electroplating, and chemical engineering. As a reliable supplier and factory in China, we ensure high-quality CPAM solutions tailored to meet your water treatment needs

Product Description

Core Features
• Adjustable Ionicity · Precise Adaptation:

Ionicity (cationic charge density) ranges from 10% to 80% (adjustable), customizable according to the negative charge intensity of wastewater:

» Low ionicity (10%–30%):

Suitable for low turbidity, weakly negatively charged wastewater (such as surface water pretreatment);

» High ionic degree (50%–80%):

Suitable for wastewater with high negative charge and fine suspended solids (such as printing and dyeing wastewater, electroplating wastewater).

• Fast Dissolution, Low Residue:

The dissolution time of powder PAM ≤ 60 minutes (at room temperature). After dissolution, the flocs are large and settle quickly (settling speed is 25%–40% faster than conventional products), and it works better when used in combination with PAC. Water insoluble matter ≤ 0.5%.

• Strong Tolerance:

Resistant to acid and alkali (pH 3–12), temperature-resistant (–5°C to 90°C), suitable for multiple scenarios such as mine wastewater, papermaking black liquor, printing and dyeing wastewater, and oilfield reinjection water.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the difference between low ionicity and high ionicity cationic PAM?
Low ionicity (10%–30%) cationic PAM is suitable for low turbidity, weakly negatively charged wastewater such as surface water pretreatment. High ionicity (50%–80%) is designed for wastewater with high negative charge and fine suspended solids, such as printing and dyeing wastewater or electroplating wastewater. Selecting the correct ionicity ensures optimal flocculation performance.
Q: How long does cationic PAM powder take to dissolve?
The dissolution time of powder cationic PAM is ≤ 60 minutes at room temperature. Once dissolved, it produces large flocs that settle 25%–40% faster than conventional products. For best results, it is recommended to use it in combination with PAC (Polyaluminum Chloride).
Q: What pH range and temperature conditions is cationic PAM suitable for?
Cationic PAM has strong tolerance to a wide pH range of 3–12 (acid and alkali resistant) and can operate in temperatures from –5°C to 90°C. This makes it suitable for demanding environments including mine wastewater, papermaking black liquor, printing and dyeing wastewater, and oilfield reinjection water.
Q: What industries can cationic PAM be applied to?
Cationic PAM is widely used across multiple industries, including municipal sewage treatment, industrial wastewater treatment (steel mills, electroplating plants, paper mills), oilfield exploitation, paper and textile manufacturing, and agricultural soil improvement for erosion prevention and water retention.
Q: What packaging options are available for cationic PAM?
Cationic PAM solid powder is available in 25kg woven bags lined with plastic bags, or in 1-ton jumbo bags. Customizable English labeling and customer logo packaging are also available to meet specific branding or export requirements.
Q: How should cationic PAM be stored, and what is its shelf life?
Cationic PAM should be stored in a cool, dry place with a temperature not exceeding 35°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. When stored in unopened packaging under these conditions, the shelf life of the solid product is 2 years.
